I know it's been a little while since I last posted. I'm still here and I'll be posting soon. Currently I am experiencing errors when I attempt to upload pictures to my blog.
Here is a sneak preview of the next few posts.
Maastricht, First Impression
Maastricht is a beautiful town with a laid-back atmosphere and friendly people. Even though I miss Eric, my friends and family, I feel quite at home here as the scenery and climate are very similar to Minnesota. Some friends told me that it would feel like I stepped off the plane and was right back in Minnesota. They were right! Except for the architecture, cobblestone sidewalks and streets, and the bicyclists riding holding their umbrellas, it's just like home.
Mosalunet 96
The apartment is great, but I need visitors. Friends and family are welcome to stop by if you are in the neighborhood. The apartment has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room, living room and a garden patio. It's wonderful.
Bruges, Belgium
I had the opportunity to visit this incredible town on August 11-12 with my Mom before she left Europe for home. We had fun walking around the town gawking at all of the very well preserved buildings dating from about the 1400's. Highlights were a canal ride through the town and climbing the Belfort in the Market square.
